Mid-Level .NET Developer

Mid Level .NET Developer - York - £35-45k

Ref: 249| Posted: 10th Jan 2020

“All you hear, all the time, is how hard it is getting into a decent Developer position”

So you’re sat there.

You’re lucky enough to already have a dev position, and some good .NET dev experience under your belt, but you’re like:

“I need – I deserve – to work somewhere better”.

And that’s fair enough.

So let me help you find somewhere better.

I think I know just the place...

There’s a .NET Developer role here in York – outside the City Centre so plenty of free parking.

You’ll be developing SaaS applications in C# and ASP.NET, so you’ll need some experience with them, as well as SQL Server, HTML5/CSS, API integrations, that kind of thing.

If you’ve got a background in MVC, JavaScript, UI, Big Data and Cloud technologies, that’d be useful too, but if not they’ll train you.

The cutting-edge solutions allow their clients to prevent, detect and resolve conflicts of interests and potential market abuses.

Luckily, there’s a mixture of brownfield and greenfield projects, so it’s not like you’ll be bored stuck working on one thing forever.

That’s the job. Let me tell you about the company.

Because I think you’ll like how it sounds.

It’s with a local success story – set up 20 years ago with clients in over 50 countries and more than half a million end users.

They’re specialists in an industry full of generalists, so their clients love them. Big, well-known clients you can get involved with.

Agile environment with the latest tech, so they’re not messing about. They know what they’re doing. You won’t be wasting your time.

And they’re not stopping where they are. They’ve got plans to grow even more.

Despite the company’s success, they’re not about forgetting how they got there.

They look after their staff.

You’ll get 20 holidays + 8 bank hols (rising to 25), 9% pension, bupa healthcare, eye care vouchers, life insurance, cycle to work scheme and childcare vouchers.

You’ll also get free parking and a discounted gym membership at David Lloyd’s.

You’ll have a voice there. You’ll get ownership of your projects, and you’ll be listened to in meetings no matter your level.

But look. Yes it’s a great company. Yes it’s a great role.

But that’s our opinion.

It doesn’t matter what I think.

See what you think.

Email your CV to tom@hainton.net along with any questions you have.

Like you said earlier, you deserve better.
