The role

One of the UK’s fastest growing training providers is looking for a developer to join their highly skilled Agile software team as they embark on the delivery of a new integrated platform which will be used to provide qualifications across the world.

You’ll be directly involved in the design and implementation of solutions and services using latest tools, technologies and best practices.

The size of this company and the wide portfolio of work means that you won’t be working on the same projects forever.

Tech Stack

  • ASP.NET, C#, MVC, Web API skills, Entity Framework, XML

  • SQL server, TFS, Windows Server, Visual Studio, VSTS and Azure cloud services


  • TDD

  • HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, Knockout, Angular

  • NoSQL, Web services (REST / SOAP), micro services and containers

Required experience

  • Proven software development experience in a developer role that includes related disciplines such as testing

  • Some experience of leading on architecture definition, system structure, the logical view, the physical view, the architecture principles and security

  • Experience of providing support, advice and coaching to IT colleagues on software development architecture principals and approach

  • Experience of translating business specifications into technical specifications

  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
